Nice game for Andy, tonight, though it would have been better without the two homeruns. Neither of them were off bad pitches this time, and honestly David Wright has been absolutely smashing lefties this year so I was worried about it all game. He probably could have gone for 7 innings (he had only thrown 88 pitches and the bottomish of the order was up), but I think the team wanted to be careful since he was sat for more than an hour when you account for both the rain delay and the top of the 6th inning.

Andy’s been on a roll, but he has also been facing offensively inferior teams. He’ll be starting in this upcoming Red Sox series so hopefully this run of good games after that awful, awful Kansas City outing (I was traumatized) is about his ability and not the other teams. I certainly hope it is!
