Well, the Winter Meetings start today and stuff is already happening. Cashman apparently had some kind of meeting with CC Sabathia yesterday that all Yankees fans hope went well. The Tigers have traded for Gerald Laird, so that’s one less team looking for a catcher. The Mets took Francisco Rodriguez out to dinner (no word on if it was a classy joint or not).
