The Yankees have finally started getting around to partial plan holders. It looks like my mid-season plan (2 seats) is gone but I did get my single seat Friday plan. This is great for me, as a lot of people who have much better seniority than me got downgraded from weekend plans to midweek ones they don’t want or can’t use. My optimism that having a single seat would help me out apparently wasn’t wrong.
I even managed to get assigned to a not completely terrible seat, though it doesn’t look to compare with what I had in 2008. See for yourself:

My 2009 Seat -- 424, Row 14. Yep, last row. At least I'm not in the outfield?
Still, I’m grateful to have something given how this whole process has gone. With any luck I’ll be able to canoodle a weekday plan somehow too.
