Bernie Williams Makes The Cut

No, he’s not coming back to the Yankees. Yesterday the final World Baseball Classic rosters were announced, and while I am one of the many who doesn’t really get into the event I did smile a little when I saw that Bernie had made the Puerto Rican team.

I’m not one of the people who wanted him to stick around with the Yankees forever (it was painful to watch him decline so badly) but I’ll make sure to check out the Puerto Rican team’s games to see if he gets any time. Hopefully they won’t let him play in CF.
