In addition to the $5 Grandstand/Bleacher/outfield Terrace nights I discovered that the Yankees have several dates where Grandstand tickets are discounted. Normally they are $22 advance price for Grandstand Outfield and $29 advance price for Grandstand Dugout, with the discounted price they are $19/$26. I do not know if these prices are applicable day of game like the $5 ticket nights, but it’s’ not like they’d really last anyway. Here’s a full list:
| Date | Opponent | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Mon May 3rd | Baltimore | 7:05 |
| Tue May 4th | Baltimore | 7:05 |
| Wed May 19th | Tampa Bay | 7:05 |
| Thu May 20th | Tampa Bay | 7:05 |
| Tue June 20th | Seattle | 7:05 |
| Tue July 20th | Anaheim | 7:05 |
| Tue August 17th | Detroit | 7:05 |
| Tue August 31st | Oakland | 7:05 |
| Wed September 1st | Oakland | 7:05 |
| Thu September 2nd | Oakland | 1:05 |
| Mon September 6th | Baltimore | 1:05 |
| Wed September 8th | Baltimore | 1:05 |
| Mon September 20th | Tampa Bay | 7:05 |
| Tue September 21st | Tampa Bay | 7:05 |
| Wed September 22nd | Tampa Bay | 7:05 |
For these games, Bleacher and Terrace seating remains the same price.
It’s worth noting that with the discount Grandstand Outfield prices are below what plan-holders pay for the seats, but Ticketmaster fees push that up so it’s not a big deal. I’ve always considered one of the benefits of having a plan (or two or three) to be saving the Ticketmaster fees one pays.
Fantastic, thanks for the heads up. I should be able to drag my father out to one of these.
