Discounted Grandstand Game Dates

In addition to the $5 Grandstand/Bleacher/outfield Terrace nights I discovered that the Yankees have several dates where Grandstand tickets are discounted. Normally they are $22 advance price for Grandstand Outfield and $29 advance price for Grandstand Dugout, with the discounted price they are $19/$26. I do not know if these prices are applicable day of …

$5 Ticket Nights and Midweek Plan Overlap

Update 2: I got one game mixed up because now you can just select the pricepoint $5 for the obstructed view bleachers when before you could not. I’ve adjusted the table and hopefully that’s it. I did notice that for some games the Yankees have discounted the Grandstand tickets by a few bucks ($26/$19 instead …

The Yankees Update Their Security Guidelines

One of the most irritating things about going to Yankee Stadium the last several years was their insane no-bag policy. If you were a woman or pretended not to know English and found the right guard you could sometimes squeak around that, but mostly you were just out of luck. At tonight’s game, however, I …

Badly Photographed Scenes From A Rain Delay

On Friday I thought about leaving early to avoid the rain. I feel no shame in admitting this as I’ve been rained on at plenty of baseball games across several levels this year already. But then I got caught up in everything going on and didn’t. I could have left as soon as it went …

The Yankees score a lot of runs. Right now, they lead all of MLB in the category (though the Rays are not far behind). I’m sure plenty of people out there are waving their hands around screaming “NEW YANKEE STADIUM BANDBOX” but those types are only partially correct. Here are the team home/away splits for …

How I Spent The July 4th Weekend

I realize it’s July 7th now, but sometimes life gets in the way of blog posts. But I can never resist posting the random photos I take while at games. On July 3rd, I made my way to Yankee Stadium for their series opener against the Blue Jays. There were a lot of red hats, …

Two Nights Even Drunk Idiots Couldn't Ruin

My baseball marathon for the week ended last night. Unlike the team itself I have an off day today before going again on Friday which is good, because I need to do laundry. The crowd on Tuesday (at least in my section) was hands down one of the most annoying I have dealt with, ever, …

This Weekend at Yankee Stadium (In Pictures)

Continuing my catalog of views in New Yankee Stadium, here are my seats from the two games I attended this weekend. While some of the Upper Deck infield views are no longer as awesome as they used to be, the Outfield is much improved. You can now see the whole field pretty well, though the …

NO PLEBIANS ALLOWED

Lonn Trost doesn’t want any smelly NYU about-to-be-graduates sitting in the Legends seats. [Picture Credit to Subway Chatter] This goes well with those quote from the aforementioned noted hater of the working class stiff: There’s an area by the Legends Suite which is not an area that fans can get into,” Trost said. “If you …
