Steam Summer Sale Shopping Spree

The Steam Summer sale is now over, which means that I am thankfully not tempted to buy any more games I won’t play for dirt cheap.

This may make you feel better about yourself and worse about me, but here’s what I picked up during this year’s sale:

  • Fallout 3 – Game of the Year
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Fallout: New Vegas – Dead Money DLC
  • Fallout: New Vegas – Honest Hearts DLC
  • Hinterland
  • Jamestown
  • King Arthur Collection
  • Magicka Complete Pack
  • Oblivion Game of the Year Deluxe (I will never play this and bought it because I am dumb)
  • STALKER: Call of Pripyat
  • STALKER: Clear Sky
  • STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (for $2.50 I figured it was worth having it for PC as well as the XBox)
  • The Heroes Pack (Heroes of Might and Magic V complete and they also force you to buy Dark Messiah of M&M)
  • Stubbs the Zombie (I destroyed my CDs by accident last year)
  • Swords and Soldiers HD
  • Terraria
  • Toki Tori
  • Trine

The most expensive purchase was Fallout: New Vegas at a whopping $15. I thought about picking up Two Worlds 2 for $17 but the console price has already dropped considerably and since it’s a SteamPlay game if I find a good deal on the PC version I can just enter the serial number and download from it from their interface. The cheapest pick up was Toki Tori for $1.25.
